As time goes by shelter pets may lose hope. But at the APA,
the fundamentals still apply—plenty of kisses, a warm bed
and dreams of a new home.
This year the APA of Missouri:
- Created progressive adoption and foster programs to find
homes for more dogs and cats.
- Volunteers logged in over 6,000 volunteer hours to help take
care of the animals.
- Hit the streets to find homes for pets through the Homeward
Bound mobile adoption program.
- Visited over 45 schools to promote humane education and to
foster a more animal-friendly community.
