From the Streets to the Goodlife-- Ricky Goes from Rags to Riches!

Our lucky grand prize raffle winner this year was Mrs. Patton and her adorable Lhasa Apso, Ricky. Mrs. Patton actually adopted Ricky from the APA last year, and they couldn't be happier together.

Mrs. Patton also brought along her sister-in-law, and the three of them enjoyed their very special Breakfast at Tiffany's in Plaza Frontenac before the store opened.
While the ladies enjoyed a beautiful spread of pastries, fruit, juice and coffee, Ricky had some very special treats of his own.
Mrs. Patton also received a gorgeous Tiffany & Co. heart tag bracelet and paw print pet tag key ring, both engraved. Ricky loves his new Tiffany & Co. blue scarf, which he donned during the breakfast.
But Ricky didn't always live the good life. When he came to the APA, Ricky was in bad shape. He had obviously been on the street for a while-- he was so matted that he could barely walk or see. Ricky needed a bath, and his matted coat had to be completely shaven.
Although he felt a little cold without his thick coat, he immediately perked up when Mrs. Patton came through the door. She fell in love with Ricky and took him home, and it's been a life of privilege for this pooch ever since!
